I use this as a baby monitor for my son while he sleeps overnight. I have used other big brands for baby monitors (BT, VTech, Bluebell) but always had issues with the connection or something breaking so decided to get the Nooie camera. It is reliable at notifying me on the app for sound detections (you can select the sensitivity of this) so I know when my son wakes up. The night vision is great quality in a blackout room too and I can zoom in very far. Only con I have is that you cannot connect to public wifis (such as in hotels), and you need to have the app open to have the sound coming through. These were not big enough cons for me though to return as my child is pretty reliably sleeping through and so I am fine with the notifications overnight. The motion detection is also good but I turned this off as my son is a fidget so I was getting notified all the time and wasn’t as useful for my purpose. The design is great and allows for great views of the room with the 360 motion (handy if I have bumped it putting him down). You can also turn off the light indicator with the app so no annoying lights flashing or anything.

I use the Nooie camera as a baby monitor and it’s absolutely brilliant. The notifications to a Smart phone is almost instant. It’s easy to set up and connect to other smart devices such as Google or Amazon. I have also set my camera up to an Amazon echo for added reassurance and constant viewing. It’s sleek and lightweight design allows me to travel with the Nooie camera anywhere. I use it to travel to the grandparents house in Ireland which it easily connects to their wifi. The movement detection and crying detection is instant. The 360 degree rotation is moveable via the smart phone. It also has a 360 degree motion movement detection which is brilliant to follow pets or toddlers when they are on the move! The picture is perfect in the day time and also very clear at night. First picture is 9:30pm viewing by Amazon echo (dusk) Second picture is 1:30am with blackout curtains via the Nooie App. The camera is always one meter away from the baby and I use the device to zoom in and out. As you can see, it’s very clear at night. I returned a popular baby cam triple the price of this one as it’s movement and sound detection was poor. The Nooie is a much better baby camera, ok it doesn’t tell you the temperature of the room or play music to the baby but who needs those features? It has the feature to two way talk and it’s camera viewing is excellent, notifications are quick so what more do you need?
